Ezra's graduation commencement service at Shepherd's Chapel, Lancaster Bible College, Lancaster, PA on May 10, Saturday, 2014. Photos 1-52 were taken from about 1:15 - 4:15 p.m.
NOTE: When I first put the photos on this web page, I had enlarged them quite a bit. But just last night, February the 17th, 2016, I noticed that it was impossible to see the previously enlarged sections of the photos outside the normal text-photo column. Sorry about that. So now, I am working on reducing all the photos back down to the standard text-photo column size, so that the complete photo may be seen. This might take a while. Sorry about that too. So for the photos I have downsized to their original format, and for the ones I have yet to do so, follow these instructions-- To enlarge the photos & text, hold down "Ctrl" & press "+" one or more times as desired. To reduce the photos & text, hold down "Ctrl "& press "-" (to left of "+" key). Then, click on scroll bar at bottom of screen & drag it all the way to the right to see complete photos. I can enlarge 5 times on my widescreen laptop & still be able to see entire photo & text. It may be different for your computer screen.—
001. About 1:15 pm. We have just arrived. Service due to begin at 2:00--
003. I'm sitting in aisle seat. Justin is on my left--
004.
005. Joanna is sitting at Justin's left--
006. Left video screen--
007. Grandmom was commenting (after the service?) on the arc-shaped device in the lower right corner of this photo, which seems to span ceiling to wall (I'm not sure if it actually touches either). I think someone responded that it might be a speaker. Visible in the next photo is another one of these located on the opposite side of the stage. I just happened to take photos of the ceiling, so was able to capture these objects in question--
008. Right screen. Above upper left of screen is the other arc-shaped object mentioned in the text for the previous photo. Orchestra is situated beneath screen. Orchestra members not all present as of yet. Organ is that tall box-like object in spotlight in front of curtain. It also seems to be on the very end of the stage--
009.
010.
011. The official LBC photographer I guess--
012. Graduates at the door. "Pomp & Circumstance" begins. It was played on the organ by Joy Ide at a very high volume. Also, Grandmom said she'd never heard it played in such a fast tempo--
013. Here they come, ladies first--
014.
015. The invisible graduate--
016. It's hard to believe, and I still don't understand why, seeing I was standing literally on the graduate walk-way aisle, but I didn't see Ezra until he was upon me. I snapped the shutter fast, but it didn't click till he was already walking away. That's him beneath his name--
017. The famous Joni (pronounced "Johnny") Eareck-son Tada. Vicki has seen her in person before, but it's the first time for me. Joni is escorted by Dr. Peter W. Teague, President of LBC.--

052. About 4:15 p.m. L to R: Ezra, Daniel Spanjer (Ezra's history professor), & Greg Schenke--
Now we all get in our cars--3 of them--and drive to Nottingham County Park for a picnic. Vicki, Mom, Dad & me in Vicki's car; Joanna, Justin, Micah & Seth in Joanna & Justin's car; and Ezra arrives last in his own car. I believe I have all that correct.
We arrive at the park at about 5:50 p.m. & leave at about 6:50 pm. because I think it was raining litely.
